Report of Visual Campaign in San Jose de Sisa

Report of Visual Campaign in San Jose de Sisa

On Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, Dunamis Church and I traveled to San Jose De Sisa. We departed around 5:30 am and arrived around 7:30 am. A local family kindly invited us to share breakfast with them, and by 8 am, we began conducting visual assessments for those waiting in line. Meanwhile, leaders from Dunamis Church were sharing the gospel with the community members.

Throughout the day, we assisted a total of 90 people of varying ages, providing 27 individuals with distance glasses and 48 with reading glasses. Our activities concluded around 7:15 pm, marking a successful day. Meanwhile, Dunamis Church leaders continued with an evangelism campaign for the local community. Around 8 pm, I returned to Tarapoto and arrived around 9:30 pm.

This is Didier. He had worn glasses since he was a teenager, but he stopped wearing them because his parents couldn't afford to buy him new ones. For around 7 years, he didn't have glasses due to financial constraints. However, that day, we found his eye prescription. When we tested him, he exclaimed, 'Wow, now I can see clearly again. Thank you so much, and God bless you!' He was incredibly happy and grateful for the help with the glasses.
